E&I at AWP

Every spring, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs holds a conference that regularly brings over 12,000 writers, teachers, translators, editors, and publishers together. In March of 2018, the literary world came to Tampa, FL, and E&I was there, tweeting away.

The E&I representative this year was Robin, who also serves as Assistant Fiction Editor for Newfound.org. Robin spent much of the conference in the book fair meeting publishers from all over the U.S. She also had the opportunity to meet with some fantastic translators and attend panels on intersectionality, storytelling in the aftermath of genocide, the relevance of history in writing, and so much more.
